Built-In Wardrobes
Fitted storage built for one specific wall or recess, finished so it reads as part of the room rather than a separate piece of furniture.
LuxeCraft designs, builds and installs made-to-measure wardrobes, fitted cabinets and built-in storage for homes and commercial spaces across Dubai. Each unit is built around your actual wall dimensions and what you need to store, rather than selecting a standard unit and trying to make the room fit around it.
The service covers the full route — agreeing the layout and specification, confirming dimensions, fabrication and installation — handled by LuxeCraft's in-house carpentry team.
Send photos of the wall or space, your Dubai location, what you need to store, and approximate width and height if you know them. Dimensions help but are not needed for a first enquiry.

Ready-made wardrobes work well when the available wall suits one of their standard sizes. Where a room has unusual dimensions, recesses, columns or specific storage requirements, made-to-measure furniture gives you more control over the fit and layout.
A made-to-measure wardrobe is planned around what is actually in the room: available wall width, floor-to-ceiling height, alcoves and recesses, a column or corner, the swing of a nearby door, window positions, and access panels that need to stay reachable. Not every constraint can be designed around, and some spaces impose limits — but the starting point is your room rather than a fixed product size.
The inside is planned the same way. A wardrobe can include long hanging, short hanging, drawers, shelving, shoe storage, overhead storage or open sections, in the proportions that suit what you own. Two wardrobes of identical width can be configured very differently depending on whether one person needs mostly hanging space and another mostly folded storage.
Exact measurements are confirmed before fabrication where required, and the agreed scope and specification should be clear before fabrication begins.
Fitted storage built for one specific wall or recess, finished so it reads as part of the room rather than a separate piece of furniture.
Storage using the full available height, often the most underused space in a Dubai bedroom. Upper sections suit luggage and out-of-season clothing.
Hanging rails, shelving, drawer units and shoe storage planned as a connected layout for a dressing area or box room. The focus is the internal storage system rather than wider room renovation.
Worth considering where there is limited space in front of the wardrobe for doors to swing. Track and panel requirements form part of the specification.
The more common configuration, giving direct access to the full width of each section. Needs clear swing space.
Made-to-measure cabinetry for bedrooms, living areas, utility and storage rooms, and kitchens where cabinetry is part of the agreed scope. Sizes, door style and internal fittings are set per project.
Alcove shelving, wall-mounted storage, display and book shelving, and storage for awkward gaps standard furniture cannot fill.
A project spanning more than one of these can be quoted as a single scope, alongside other carpentry services in Dubai where needed.
A wardrobe that looks right can still work badly. Most frustration with fitted storage comes from the inside: too few drawers, hanging sections too short for long dresses, shelves spaced so generously that stacks topple, or shoe storage never planned for.
Worth thinking through before the internal layout is fixed:
You do not need answers to all of this before getting in touch — photos and a rough description of what you need to store are enough to begin. The internal layout is confirmed with you before fabrication.
Material choice depends on where the unit will be installed, the finish you want and how the storage will be used. The specification is set per job rather than applying one board type to every project.
Board and timber options in common use for wardrobes and cabinetry include MDF, which takes paint and laminate well and gives a smooth surface; plywood, chosen where fixing strength and screw retention matter; and solid wood for structural or visible timber elements where the design calls for it.
Surface finishes include laminate and HPL for durability and easy cleaning, veneer for a natural timber appearance, and painted or lacquer-style finishes where the design suits them.
Hardware matters more than most people expect, because it determines how the wardrobe feels every day. Hinges, drawer runners, handles, sliding-door tracks and lift-up mechanisms vary in quality and price, and the specification is agreed rather than assumed.
In Dubai, humidity and water exposure are worth taking seriously in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry areas and units against external walls. Board type, edge treatment, finish and installation detail all matter more there than on a dry internal bedroom wall.
The material, finish and hardware for your project should be identified clearly in the quotation before fabrication starts. If any part of the specification is unclear, ask for it to be stated before you approve the work.
Both configurations can be built, and the right one usually comes down to the space in front of the wardrobe.
Sliding doors are useful where a bed, desk or narrow walkway leaves little room for a door to swing open. They run on a track, which affects how the internal sections are divided, and one panel always sits in front of another — so you see part of the wardrobe at a time.
Hinged doors open clear of the unit and give you the full width of each section at once, which many people prefer for everyday use. They need unobstructed swing space in front.
Send a photo of the room with your enquiry, including what sits opposite the wardrobe wall. That usually settles the question.
Send photos of the space, your Dubai location, approximate dimensions if you have them, what you need to store, and any reference image or style you like.
The team reviews what you have sent. Where the project needs on-site measurement or inspection, a site assessment can be arranged.
Dimensions, internal layout, material, finish, hardware and scope of work are confirmed and set out in your quotation before anything is built.
Fabrication proceeds according to the agreed quotation and specification.
The unit is installed according to the agreed scope and reviewed with you. Warranty terms for your job are confirmed at handover.
Custom storage is priced per project rather than from a standard rate, because two wardrobes of the same width can involve very different work.
Your quotation should set out the agreed scope and specification clearly, so you can see what is being supplied and built rather than one unexplained total. If something is not stated, ask before you approve it.
For standard projects, LuxeCraft uses a staged schedule:
Cash, credit and debit card (Visa and Mastercard), online payment link and bank transfer are accepted.

Warranty depends on the type and scope of work. The minimum standard service warranty is 1 month. Longer warranty periods may apply to specific projects, materials or work scopes, but only where that has been confirmed for your job and stated in your quotation.
LuxeCraft uses its in-house carpentry team rather than operating as a marketplace referral service, giving customers one company to deal with from quotation through to handover.
Fitted storage is manufactured in sections and assembled on site, so access shapes how a job runs.
In apartments, that usually means booking the service lift, working within the building's permitted hours, protecting lift lobbies and corridors, and sizing panels to fit through the lift and the entrance door. These are worked out at the specification stage rather than discovered on installation day.
In villas, access is generally more straightforward, allowing larger assembled sections and longer working sessions.
Some buildings or communities may require access permission depending on the scope of work and the delivery arrangements. It is worth checking with your building management or community office early, since approval timelines sit outside any contractor's control.
Mention your building type, floor and any known access restrictions when you enquire.
LuxeCraft takes wardrobe and cabinetry work across Dubai, including Dubai Marina, JLT, JVC, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Al Barsha, Jumeirah, Dubai Hills and Arabian Ranches, along with other residential and commercial areas in the emirate.
The company's office address is on Sheikh Zayed Road, and the team travels to your property for assessment and installation. When you get in touch, mention your area, whether the property is a villa or an apartment, and the floor if relevant — that helps with scheduling and access planning.
Send a photo of the wall or space, your Dubai location, approximate width and height if you have them, and a short description of what you need to store. If you have a reference image or a style in mind, send that too. The team will confirm what can be built there and what is needed to prepare a quotation.
